My name is Barbara Bowlin and I was told while growing up that my grandfather, James Clinton Bowlin and his sister, Bertie, were raised by "Uncle Bud" Fowler. James Clinton's father was Robert James Bowlin and born in Arkansas, as it appears JSK "Bud" Fowler was born in Arkansas. Was wondering what the connection was between JSK Fowler and Robert James Bowlin. Would like to know why he would have raised my grandfather and great aunt.
ReplyDeleteMy mother once said that her mother , era cornelius fowler, stayed that her father - jsk fowler- adopted a couple children and even gave them some land. That's all i know .
